2 Out of 5.9 Million

Virginia Commonwealth, Butler, Kentucky, and Connecticut are through to the Final Four.  We will post a guest piece tomorrow morning previewing the match-ups as well as predictions on how the tournament will play out.

Until then, check out this article on ESPN.com:

2011-ncaa-trends

It breaks down the brackets that were submitted for ESPN’s Tournament Challenge.  From the 5.9 million brackets submitted, only two people picked all four teams correctly.  It also shows why President Obama is ‘way-winning’ when it comes to basketball.  Scroll down and you will find that only 6 percent of sports nation had Connecticut wining it all.  You will also notice of the nearly 6 million brackets, only 5,791 had VCU going this far… their school enrollment is 32,303… their own fans weren’t picking them to get this far.  Since Cal just barely missed the Final Four, I don’t have a horse in this race, BUT am pulling for the winner of Butler/VCU.
